The applicant, Stiles Corporation is requesting a Broward County Trafficway Amendment to reduce the proposed right-of-way width for Sheridan Street from Federal Highway to State Road A-1-A from 200 feet to 120 feet. |

Description of Action |
|
To reduce the proposed right-of-way width for Sheridan Street from Federal Highway to State Road A-1-A from 200 feet to 120 feet to be consistent with the Sheridan Street right of way width west of Federal Highway. The Broward County Trafficway Plan calls for a 200 foot corridor on Sheridan Street from Federal Highway east to State Road A-1-A. However, there are no planned improvements in the county’s 2035 Long Range Plan for Sheridan Street east of Federal Highway. The applicant is requesting that the 120 foot right-of-way be extended east of Federal Highway in order to be consistent with the section west of Federal Highway. In order to proceed, the county requires a resolution of support from Dania Beach and Hollywood as each municipality is located adjacent to the road in question. |
